American Conference On Diversity

ACOD In The Community

Community & Government Initiatives

The American Conference on DiversitySM partners with the New Jersey Human Relations Council, County and local Human Relations Commissions and other grassroots organizations throughout New Jersey to provide training and consultation as these organizations evolve to meet changing needs in their communities.

Through the collaboration and support of its eight chapters across the state, community programs such as the Hudson County Chapter, Central Jersey Chapter and Essex County Poster Art Contests; the Atlantic County Martin Luther King, Jr. Brotherhood-Sisterhood Breakfast and Health Disparities Conference; and the Essex County School Swap, we are helping to build diverse and inclusive communities.

Collaborating with Human Relations and Other Organizations to Build Better Communities

“Through my involvement with the New Jersey Human Relations Council, we have collaborated with the American Conference on Diversity to create programs, workshops and conferences designed to improve the quality of life in New Jersey’s communities by encouraging civility and promoting respect for oneself and others. I look forward to working with the American Conference on Diversity in the years ahead, and I am sure our relationship will continue to be as collaborative and beneficial to New Jersey’s residents as it always has been.”
